PMAC’s National Conference was a resounding success

More than 600 supply chain management professionals attended PMAC’s 83rd National Conference on May 21-23, 2008 in St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador to keep abreast of the newest strategies and best practices in the field of supply chain management.

The conference opened with keynote speaker Dr. J.P. Pawliw-Fry who spoke about how business professionals can strengthen their EQ to succeed in the corporate world. The conference closed with soft skills specialist Mark Jeffries who talked about enhancing your professional image.

Our 25 education sessions examined a variety of issues in supply chain management including sustainable supply chains, global sourcing, inventory planning, risk management, negotiations and many other topics that are changing the way companies do business in the international marketplace.

The conference’s three networking events gave delegates an opportunity to meet other like-minded professionals in a relaxed and informal manner.

Many delegates were very impressed with the quality of speakers and the social events, rating their conference experience as “excellent.”
