Final Examination

The Final National examination is the last step in obtaining the C.P.P. designation and is held once a year in locations across Canada.

The examination tests the C.P.P. candidate’s ability to apply knowledge gained in the modules and interactive workshops, as well as skills acquired through practical experience.

The format of the new examination will consist of two parts, written on separate days. Part 1 will be short case questions. Part 2 will be a case analysis, written two days after the writing of Part 1.

Registration

Typically, candidates register for both the Final Examination and In-Residence Week at the same time. Please register by returning a completed application form to the PMAC National office.

Evaluation Process

Success in achievement of the C.P.P. designation will be based on grades attained through each module, interactive workshop, In-Residence Week as well as the Final Examination. Evaluation is progressive with all learning contributing to the final mark.

A mark of 60% is required for successful completion of the program. The mark of 60% will come from these four requirements of the program:

Modules 30%
Interactive Workshops 15%
In-Residence Week 10%
Final Examination 45%
